“Now it has become something else.”
Helena explained that after Mara disappeared, the White Star divided into two groups.
One wanted to protect the research.
The other wanted to control it.
The second group had secretly taken over.
They had been searching for the four children for years.
Ava had been protected.
Noah had been hidden.
Ethan and Eliza had been manipulated.
And Richard had been used.
Noah stared at the vial.
“What is this?”
Helena looked at it.
“The first successful version of the repair treatment.”
Noah's eyes widened.
“Where did my mother get it?”
Helena answered:
“She created it.”
Noah looked toward the door.
“Then why did she never use it?”
