Chapter 53 - THE FOURTH CHILDAva handed Noah a photograph.

It showed four children.
Noah.
Ethan.
Eliza.
And Ava.
They were standing in a garden.
Noah looked at the photograph in disbelief.
“I don't remember this.”
“You were very young.”
“When was it taken?”
Ava answered:
“Before the accident.”
Noah looked at the twins.
They had never mentioned Ava.
But perhaps they couldn't remember either.
Catherine stared at the photograph.
“Why were the four of you together?”
Ava looked down.
“Because we were part of the same program.”
Noah felt his stomach tighten.
“What program?”
Ava whispered:
“The Four Star Project.”
The room became silent.
The project had been designed to study four children with the same rare genetic pattern.
But the project had been shut down.
Officially.
Ava looked at Noah.
“Your father knew about it.”
May you like
Noah closed his eyes.
Richard had lied again.
