Inside were three sandwiches.
Noah looked at him.
“Did you buy these?”
Richard nodded.
“I didn't know what else to bring.”
Noah smiled faintly.
“That's okay.”
They sat together in the kitchen.
For the first time, no one talked about money.
No one talked about business.
