Chapter 34 - THE SEARCH FOR SOFIANoah studied every piece of information they had.
Sofia had disappeared at 9:42 p.m.
Her phone had been turned off at 9:48.
The family car had not moved.
The security cameras had been disabled from inside the house.
Noah noticed something.
A delivery receipt.
A package had arrived earlier that day.
The sender was unknown.
The package contained a children's book.
Noah opened it.
Inside the cover was a message.
THE MOON SONG HAS THREE VERSES.
Noah froze.
The moon song.
The lullaby Catherine had created.
But Mara had never heard the third verse.
Unless…
Someone else had been in the laboratory.
Someone who knew the song.
Noah played the recording of the song.
The first verse.
The second.
Then he heard something hidden beneath the music.
A sound.
A sequence.
Three tones.
Noah repeated them.
The tones formed coordinates.
A location outside the city.
An abandoned research facility.
May you like
Sofia was there.
And so was the Black Circle.
