Police officers rushed inside.
Jonathan fled through the side corridor.
Ethan chased him.
Mark stayed with Lily.
Sarah locked the doors.
Victoria dropped to the floor, sobbing.
“I didn't know he'd shoot!”
Mark looked at her.
“You knew everything.”
Victoria shook her head.
“No.”
“You helped kill Clara.”
“I didn't know she would die!”
“You poisoned her.”
“I only followed instructions!”
Detective Miller stepped toward her.
“Whose instructions?”
Victoria looked toward the hallway.
Then whispered:
“Eleanor.”
Mark froze.
“Eleanor ordered it?”
Victoria nodded.
“She told me Clara had to disappear.”
Miller immediately arrested her again.
But before she was taken away, Victoria said one final thing.
“There was one thing Eleanor was afraid of.”
Mark leaned closer.
“What?”
Victoria whispered:
“Clara had another child.”
Mark stopped.
“What?”

Victoria smiled through her tears.
“You never knew.”
