Chapter 26 - CHRISTMAS JOY

Christmas Eve arrived with a blanket of heavy snow covering the sprawling grounds of Sterling Manor.
A towering green fir tree stood in the living room, adorned with golden lights, star ornaments, and red ribbons.
Piles of wrapped presents sat beneath the tree, waiting for Leo to open them on Christmas morning.
Ethan sat by the fireplace, reading a classic holiday book to Leo while Clara prepared hot chocolate in the kitchen.
The room was bathed in the warm, golden glow of the firelight, creating a cozy and serene atmosphere.
"Daddy, will Santa bring me a big red firetruck?" Leo asked, wide-eyed with childhood wonder.
"If you're a good boy, Santa brings the best firetruck in the world," Ethan smiled, tapping Leo's nose gently.
Clara walked into the room carrying two mugs of cocoa, setting them down on the wooden coffee table.
She sat beside Ethan, resting her head against his shoulder as the snow fell quietly outside the window.
