Chapter 24 - AUTUMN IN CONNECTICUT

November brought crisp air, fallen orange leaves, and golden sunsets to the rolling hills of Greenwich.

Ethan, Clara, and little Leo spent their afternoons walking through the scenic trails surrounding their estate.

Leo was now a energetic two-year-old boy who loved chasing leaves and playing fetch with their golden retriever.

Clara sat on a wooden bench, watching her husband play with their son under the canopy of autumn trees.

"I love our life, Ethan," Clara said softly as he walked over and sat down beside her on the bench.

"So do I, Clara. It's everything I ever wanted," Ethan replied, pulling her close into the warmth of his leather jacket.

The trauma of two years ago had completely dissolved, replaced by a deep, unshakeable sense of security.

They had weathered every storm, defeated every threat, and emerged stronger than ever before.

Their home was a true fortress of love, peace, and timeless American strength.
