Eleanor stared at the screen.
Marcus had not been helping the family.
He had been using the family's money.
For twenty years.
Eleanor immediately called the police.
But before she could finish the call…
Her phone rang.
The number was unknown.
She answered.
There was silence.
Then a man's voice.
“You should stop looking.”
Eleanor froze.
“Who is this?”
The man laughed quietly.
“You already lost your daughter once.”
Eleanor's blood ran cold.
The voice continued:
“Don't lose your granddaughter too.”
The call ended.
Eleanor immediately called Anna.

But Anna did not answer.
