“Flowers, ma’am?”
“Would you like a rose?”
Most people walked past her.
Some ignored her.
Others barely noticed she was there.
But Lily never complained.
She simply smiled and continued.
That morning, an expensive black car stopped at the traffic light.
Inside sat an elderly woman named Eleanor Hayes.
Eleanor was one of the wealthiest women in the city.
But despite her wealth, she had spent the last twenty years searching for someone.
Her daughter.
A child who had disappeared long ago.
Then Eleanor looked out the window.
And suddenly…
