Chapter 22 - The Awakening at Mirror LakeBack at the Mirror Lake estate, Lily woke up to the gentle sound of morning birds singing outside her window and the warm, golden sunlight filtering through the sheer linen curtains.

For a moment, she lay completely still, expecting the sterile white walls and locked steel door of the Berkshire facility. Instead, she smelled the rich, comforting aroma of roasted coffee beans and fresh blueberry pancakes drifting up from the kitchen downstairs.
The bedroom door opened softly, and Abraham stepped inside, carrying a small ceramic tray with breakfast and a glass of fresh orange juice.
"Good morning, sweetheart," Abraham smiled, his stern features melting instantly into a profound, tender warmth as he sat on the edge of her bed. "How did you sleep?"
Lily sat up, pulling the soft quilt around her shoulders, a genuine, unforced smile breaking across her face for the first time in seven years. "Like I haven't slept in a millennium, Dad. Is this... is this really our home?"
"It's yours, Lily. Every square inch of it," Abraham assured her, handing her the tray. "And nobody will ever, ever take it away from you again."

She took a bite of the pancakes, her eyes shining with happy tears. "You know... I kept playing the midnight waltz in my head every single night in that room. I told myself that if I just kept the music alive, you would eventually find me."
Abraham reached out, gently brushing a lock of hair behind her ear. "The music brought me right to your door, Lily. And it's never going to stop playing."
