Chapter 14 - The Search for LilyWhile Julian’s public humiliation dominated morning headlines across the country, Abraham’s primary focus remained unchanged: finding his daughter, Lily.

Seven years prior, following Abraham’s wrongful arrest for corporate embezzlement, Julian had orchestrated the forced institutionalization of nineteen-year-old Lily into a remote, corrupt private psychiatric facility upstate—the Blackwood Sanatorium—under the false pretext of "severe mental instability." From that day forward, Lily had vanished from public records, her medical files sealed under court orders signed by a judge on Thorne Industries' payroll.

Abraham sat in his private study at the estate, staring at a faded photograph of Lily playing the piano when she was a little girl.

Marcus knocked softly on the open door before stepping inside, holding a newly decrypted file drive.

"Boss, we breached the local health department's legacy mainframe," Marcus reported, placing the drive on the mahogany desk. "We found the transfer logs from Blackwood Sanatorium dating back four years. Three months after your imprisonment, Lily was quietly moved to a secondary, unlisted facility operating under a shell medical foundation."

Abraham stood up so fast his chair scraped loudly against the hardwood floor. "Where?"

"A secluded private estate in the Berkshire hills," Marcus replied grimly. "Maintained under strict armed guard by Thorne Industries security personnel. They didn't treat her, Abraham... they kept her prisoner to ensure you never had a reason to fight back."

A dark, dangerous fire flared deep within Abraham’s dark eyes. He reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a heavy steel pocket watch, flipping the cover open to reveal the ticking mechanism.

"Saddle the transport," Abraham commanded, his voice trembling with a suppressed rage that shook the room. "We are going to bring my daughter home."
