Chapter 19 - The Safehouse at Mirror LakeBy midnight, Lily was safely transferred from the oppressive walls of the Berkshire facility to a breathtaking, high-security private estate nestled on the shores of Mirror Lake in Lake Placid, New York.

The estate was a masterclass in rustic luxury—massive cedar logs, stone fireplaces, and floor-to-ceiling glass windows overlooking the moonlit water. A team of elite private physicians and nutritionists, vetted by Marcus’s network, attended to Lily in a sunlit master bedroom filled with fresh flowers and warm, comforting colors.
Abraham sat by her bedside as she finally drifted into a deep, peaceful sleep, her breathing steady and untroubled for the first time in seven years.
Marcus walked into the bedroom quietly, handing Abraham a secure satellite tablet.
"Boss, we have a situation at Julian’s estate in Greenwich," Marcus reported in a low voice. "Aiden and Julian are attempting to charter a private jet out of Teterboro Airport to flee to South America."

Abraham stood up slowly, gently pulling the blanket up over Lily’s shoulder before turning toward the door. His face had returned to its mask of cold, absolute marble.
"They thought they could escape the music," Abraham said quietly, picking up his silver-tipped cane. "Let's go make sure they miss their flight."
