Victoria dropped her handbag, her knees giving out as the reality of her situation settled in. Handcuffs clicked coldly around her wrists.
"Alexander! Please! It was Richard’s idea!" Victoria wept hysterical tears, all her previous elegance completely gone. "I just wanted to get back at you for ruining my reputation!"
Alexander looked down at her with cold indifference. "You ruined yourself the moment you decided to treat human beings like trash. Enjoy your new life behind bars, Victoria."
