Chapter 15 - The Traitor WithinAn investigation into Richard’s recent contacts revealed a shocking connection: he hadn't been acting alone. Victoria had provided the funds to bribe the hotel staff and help Richard evade security.
A warrant was issued for Victoria’s immediate arrest for conspiracy to commit severe harm.
Knowing she was facing years in prison, Victoria panicked. She packed a small suitcase with cash and jewels, preparing to flee the country on a private charter flight.
As she stepped out of her building’s underground garage into a waiting car, dark figures emerged from the shadows.
