Chapter 5 - The Confrontation in Room 4BThe entire classroom froze instantly.

Twenty children turned in their seats, wide-eyed and silent. Mrs. Gable spun around from the chalkboard, her stern expression momentarily faltering as she saw David towering in the doorway.

And there, sitting in the front row with her head bowed and tears still damp on her cheeks, was Lily. Her hair was brutally cropped on one side, bearing the undeniable mark of sadistic humiliation.

"Mr. Miller!" Mrs. Gable recovered quickly, lifting her chin with an air of arrogant superiority as she stepped forward. "You cannot simply barge into a classroom while instruction is underway. Your daughter failed to complete her math assignments three times this week, and in this classroom—"

Before she could finish her sentence, David crossed the room in three massive strides.

He didn't yell. He didn't scream. His voice was lower, colder, and far more terrifying than any explosion of rage could ever be.

"You touched my daughter," David whispered, stopping inches away from her face, his eyes blazing with a furious, icy fire.

Mrs. Gable took a nervous half-step back, finally sensing the mortal danger she had walked into.
