Chapter 1 - The Cruel SnipThe sharp, metallic click of scissors echoed through the quiet middle-school classroom like a gunshot.
Ten-year-old Lily sat frozen in her wooden student chair, her brown hair cascading down her back until a pair of cold, steel blades brutally sliced right through it. A thick lock of her long brown hair drifted downward, tumbling lifelessly onto the white tiled floor.
Tears streamed uncontrollably down Lily’s face as she stared up at Mrs. Gable, the school's most feared and rigid teacher.
"Please, I'm sorry," Lily sobbed, her small hands trembling as she touched her freshly sheared head, where one side of her hair had been cropped into an uneven, humiliating buzz cut. "I'll do my homework! I promise!"
Mrs. Gable stood over her, her face a mask of cold, unyielding authority, holding the heavy scissors tightly in her hand.

"This is how you remember, Lily," Mrs. Gable said, her voice dripping with sharp disdain. "Even if your father comes here, it won't change your punishment. Actions have consequences."
In the back row, another student—Lily’s best friend, Mia—sat completely paralyzed with shock. With trembling fingers, Mia pulled her smartphone out from beneath her open textbook, tapped the record button, and began streaming every single second live to a private secure link shared only with Lily's father.
