Chapter 6 - TYLER’S RECKONING

While I recovered in the hospital, Tyler spent three days in county jail before being released on bail. The video footage Dr. Sterling provided to the district attorney was damning; it showed not only the physical assault but also the verbal abuse and the calculated attempt to harass me. The charges filed against him included felony battery, harassment, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
His defense attorney reached out to mine, offering a plea deal, but I instructed my legal team to refuse any compromise that didn't include a mandatory anger management program and a restrictive no-contact order. Tyler’s life, once defined by his swaggering sense of superiority, was now anchored to a grueling, public legal process that stripped away his ability to claim he was the "hard-working" victim of my supposed fraud.
