Inside were official documents bearing Nia's full legal name, a specific trust number, and formal records showing multiple attempts by Caleb to access information that should have strictly required Nia's direct, personal authorization.
Staring at the papers, Nia asked the fundamental question: “What does Caleb want?” Adrien's answer was chillingly simple: “Control.” The word sent a shiver down her spine.
