Chapter 10 - A Promise Under the SunOne year later.

The sun shone brightly over the tropical coastal estate where Ethan, Lena, and Mason were celebrating their new beginning. The air was warm, filled with the gentle rustle of palm trees and the soothing sound of ocean waves crashing nearby.
Lena stood on the covered marble patio near the beach, looking breathtaking in a bright red bandeau top and a long, elegant white skirt with a high slit. Her blonde hair fell in effortless waves over her shoulders, sparkling under the golden sunlight.
Ethan stepped out from the main hall to join her, looking handsomer than ever in a wet, purple button-up shirt and crisp white linen trousers. He walked up to her with a look of pure adoration, placing one hand comfortably in his pocket while reaching for her with the other.
"What are you thinking about?" Ethan asked softly, his voice rich with affection.
Lena looked into his deep brown eyes, a soft, radiant smile spreading across her face. "I was just thinking about how a quiet click of a door brought us all the way here."
Ethan leaned in, his lips brushing gently against her temple as the warm ocean breeze swept around them. "It was the best mistake I ever made, because it forced me to chase the only woman who could ever complete my heart."
Down on the sandy shoreline, Mason was laughing as he chased the waves, his bright voice echoing through the air. Lena rested her head against Ethan's muscular shoulder, feeling the deep, steady beat of his heart beneath his shirt.
