Chapter 10 - Beyond the GlassSix months later.

The morning sun rose golden and warm over a private oceanfront estate in Victoria Island, Lagos.
The ocean waves crashed gently against the white sand cliffs, and the air was filled with the sweet scent of blooming jasmine and sea breeze.
Over two hundred close friends, family members, and loved ones gathered under a canopy of white orchids for a new wedding ceremony.
Lily walked down the aisle wearing a stunning, custom ivory gown that sparkled like stars under the sunlight. She wore no veil. Her dark hair was styled in an intricate crown, her skin glowing with radiant health, happiness, and freedom.
Standing at the altar waiting for her was Williams, wearing a tailored navy tuxedo, his eyes shining with tears of pure joy as he watched his true bride walk toward him.
When she reached his side, Williams took both of her hands in his, kissing her left wrist right over her small crescent scar.
“I love you, Lily,” Williams spoke into the microphone, his voice rich with unconditional devotion. “In this world, and in every world beyond.”
“I love you, Benson,” Lily smiled brightly, tears of happiness spilling down her cheeks. “Always and forever.”
