Chapter 13 - THE LEGAL DESTRUCTION OF IRVING PALMER

The trial itself lasted less than a week. Heartland’s legal team presented an airtight mountain of evidence that left the defense with zero room to maneuver.

When the unedited audio recording of Sabrina’s basement sadism was played aloud in the courtroom, several jurors visibly winced, and the public gallery fell into a stunned, horrified hush. The defense attorneys didn't even attempt to dispute the audio; they simply sat in miserable silence, knowing their clients were beyond rescue.

The jury deliberated for a mere forty-five minutes before returning a unanimous verdict of guilty on all counts across the board.

At the sentencing hearing a month later, Judge Henderson didn't hold back.

“Sabrina Palmer, for the crimes of aggravated kidnapping, torture, extortion, and conspiracy to commit murder, this court sentences you to twenty-five years in a federal penitentiary without the possibility of parole,” the judge declared firmly.

He turned his gaze toward Irving Palmer. “Irving Palmer, for orchestrating corporate racketeering, wire fraud, and suborning felony violence, you are sentenced to twenty years in federal prison.”

The gavel struck the sounding block like a thunderclap, sealing their fate permanently. They had tried to steal an empire built on hard work and integrity; instead, they had engineered their own permanent entombment behind steel bars.
