Chapter 4 - The Loyalty of the SilentSade backed away from the bedroom door, step by step, until she reached the front door of the apartment. She closed it without making a single sound, ran down the fire escape stairs, and burst into the parking garage in tears.

She collapsed against the side of her vehicle, sobbing uncontrollably, her chest heaving with deep, painful breaths.
The driverâs door opened instantly.
David stepped out, rushing to her side, offering her a clean handkerchief and holding his jacket over her shoulders to shield her from the chilly garage air.
He didn't ask what happened. He didn't say "I told you so." He simply stood beside her like a human shield, his calm, strong presence anchoring her in the darkest moment of her life.
âMiss Sade,â David said softly, his eyes filled with genuine compassion. âAre you hurt?â
Sade looked up at David through her tears, seeing the absolute sincerity, respect, and quiet devotion in his eyesâa man who had warned her out of genuine care, despite being dismissed.
âDavid...â Sade wept, clutching his arm. âThey... they took everything. They lied about everything.â
Davidâs jaw clenched, his eyes hardening into steel. âI am here, Miss Sade. Chief Tunde is waiting at the private estate. Let me take you home.â
During the forty-minute drive to the Adami Estate, Sade sat in the backseat, her tears slowing down as her heartbreak began to transform into a cold, lethal resolve.
When they arrived at the estate, Chief Tunde was waiting in the courtyard, wearing a pristine agbada, flanked by his lead corporate attorney, Victoria Vance.

Sade ran into her fatherâs arms, weeping. âDad... Iâm so sorry... You were right. They were working together.â
Chief Tunde held his daughter tightly, patting her back gently. âItâs alright, my child. The test has served its purpose. Now, it is time for the reckoning.â
