Chapter 10 - A Love Worth KeepingOne year after the trial.

The morning sun rose golden and warm over the oceanfront gardens of the Adami Estate.

The estate was filled with blooming white lilies, and the sound of crashing Atlantic waves filled the air as over three hundred guests gathered under a grand floral canopy.

We were celebrating two occasions: Chief Tunde’s sixty-fifth birthday, and the official launch of the Adami & David Foundation for Youth Empowerment—a non-profit organization dedicated to providing business grants and mentorship for honest young entrepreneurs across the country.

Sade stood on the wide wooden terrace, wearing a stunning yellow silk dress that glowed under the sunlight.

Standing beside her, wearing a tailored dark suit, was David.

Over the past year, David had transitioned from her family’s private driver to the Chief Operating Officer of the foundation. His quiet strength, unshakeable integrity, and deep devotion to Sade had blossomed into a beautiful, genuine romance built on mutual respect and unconditional trust.

Chief Tunde walked up to them on the terrace, raising a glass of sparkling cider to the crowd.

“Two years ago,” Chief Tunde spoke into the microphone, his voice full of emotion, “I put my daughter through a painful test to protect her from greed. But out of that storm, God revealed a true man—a man who stayed beside my daughter when he believed she had nothing, asking for no reward other than her safety.”

The crowd clapped warmly, cheering under the clear blue sky.

David looked down at Sade, taking her hand in his strong, warm grip, his eyes shining with deep, unshakeable love.

“I didn't care about the billions, Sade,” David whispered into her ear. “I only ever cared about you.”

Sade looked up into his eyes, a radiant, whole smile lighting up her face as she leaned in and kissed him softly under the golden sunlight.

The fake promises were gone forever. The traitors were locked behind steel bars, and out of a father’s test, a true, unbreakable love had been born to last a lifetime.
