For several days...
No one spoke about it.
The questions were simply too overwhelming.
Finally...
Sarah agreed to take a DNA test.
Ethan gave a sample.
The laboratory compared it with Jonathan Hale's preserved genetic records.
The wait felt endless.
One week later...
The results arrived.
The attorney slowly opened the envelope.
His hands trembled.
He looked at Sarah.
Then at Ethan.
There was only one sentence that mattered.

Jonathan Hale — Father.
Sarah covered her face and broke down in tears.
