Chapter 3 - The Seven VisitsI zoomed in on the fourth video clip, dated three weeks prior.

The camera caught Andre and Simone standing under the patio lights. Andre was holding a leather folder, pointing at a floor plan of our townhouse while Simone laughed, resting her head against his shoulder.

“He thinks he’s so smart,” Simone’s voice came through the crisp microphone audio. “He works eighteen hours a day while I finalize the appraisal. By the time my lawyer serves the papers, he won't have enough capital left to fight the property deed.”

I closed my eyes for five seconds, letting the cold reality settle into my chest.

For five years, I had provided Simone with a five-thousand-dollar monthly allowance, paid off her luxury car lease, funded her interior design boutique venture, and taken her on annual vacations to Amalfi and St. Barts.

I thought she was distant because of my long work hours. I thought she was stressed about starting a family.

In reality, she was waiting for my bank balance to hit a specific threshold before springing her trap.

I opened our joint bank account portal and pulled the last six months of itemized bank statements.

The evidence was glaring:

$12,500 wired to a private offshore escrow account in Nevis.

$6,400 spent at luxury boutique hotels in Miami.

$3,500 charged at a high-end jewelry showroom for a men's Rolex watch—a watch I had never seen.

Total siphoned from our joint marital reserves: $22,400.

I exported the complete PDF statements, encrypted them, and emailed the file straight to Arthur Vance with a note: “Add this to the counter-claim.”
