Clara walked down the flower-strewn aisle with her head held high, her hand resting on her father’s arm, though her eyes were locked entirely on Adrian. When she reached the altar, Adrian stepped forward, gently taking her hand in his. His fingers were warm, steady, and calloused from a life of hard choices, yet they held hers with infinite tenderness. The elderly magistrate officiating the ceremony smiled warmly as he asked for their vows. Adrian went first, his deep, resonant voice carrying clearly across the silent, captivated garden. "Clara, I spent my entire life believing that power meant control, that protection meant walls, and that love was a weakness to be exploited," Adrian recited, looking straight into her brown eyes without a single note or hesitation. "Adrian, I spent my life building dresses to help other women feel invincible, never expecting to find a man strong enough to make me feel safe just by being in the room," she vowed, her voice ringing with clear, bell-like certainty. "I vow to be your anchor in every storm, your partner in every ambition, and your home wherever we go." With hands that trembled slightly with emotion, Adrian slid the platinum-and-gold thread wedding band onto her finger. The magistrate beamed, raising his voice. "By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. Adrian, you may kiss your bride." Adrian didn't wait for a second invitation. He pulled Clara fiercely into his arms, lifting her slightly as he kissed her with a deep, consuming passion that made the entire garden erupt into thunderous applause and cheering.
