Money truly rots the soul.” Extended relatives and distant cousins began flooding my phone with text messages calling me a monster, demanding I apologize to my mother immediately. Instead of engaging in a digital mudslinging contest, I calmly documented every single defamatory post, screenshot the libelous statements, and forwarded them to my legal team. The era of quietly absorbing their abuse to protect family optics was officially over; every public lie was now being cataloged as a formal count of defamation.
