“Tobenna Okafor and Kingsley Okafor,” Judge Nnamdi declared, his voice echoing like thunder through the packed courtroom. “Your actions represent the highest level of cruelty, greed, and calculated deceit. You abandoned a mother and an infant child to poverty while swimming in stolen wealth.”

The judge slammed his gavel down.

“I sentence Tobenna Okafor to twenty-two years in federal prison without option for parole.” “I sentence Kingsley Okafor to eighteen years in federal prison for insurance fraud and forgery.”

The courtroom erupted into cheers and applause from village members and domestic justice advocates!
