Blind with rage at her utter lack of empathy, Ethan grabbed the handles of the heavy pot. "You want to see a mess?" he roared. "Here’s your mess!"
With a swift, powerful motion, he hoisted the pot and dumped the entire mass of hot spaghetti and water directly across the center of the polished dining table. Noodles and water splattered in every direction, crashing against expensive plates and glassware.
Helen recoiled in sheer disbelief, throwing her hands up as her pristine dining room was instantly ruined. "Have you lost your mind?!" she shrieked.
