Chapter 10 - Where We BelongSix months later.

The media storm had long since passed, leaving Bole Industrial stronger, more unified, and more profitable than ever. Richard Sterling’s public stunt backfired completely, leading to official sanctions from the state bar association for breaching confidentiality agreements.
On a warm Saturday afternoon in June, the backyard of the Bole estate was decorated with white roses, twinkling string lights, and wooden pews placed on the manicured lawn.
There were no legal contracts, no secret trust funds, and no corporate lawyers.
It was our real wedding.
My father, Joe, stood beside me as my best man, looking healthy and handsome in his tuxedo.
Music began to play, and down the floral aisle walked Emma and Eva, wearing matching sparkly lace dresses, tossing pink rose petals onto the grass while holding hands and laughing happily.
Then, Sophia appeared.
She took my breath away. She wore a breathtaking, simple white silk gown that flowed around her like liquid light. Her dark blonde hair fell in soft curls, and her face radiated pure, unadulterated happiness.
When she reached the altar, I took both of her hands in mine, gazing into her eyes.
“A year ago, I signed a piece of paper to save my father,” I said, my voice thick with emotion as I delivered my vows. “I thought I was making a sacrifice. But God used that contract to bring me to the woman who completed my soul. You and Eva gave Emma and me a life we only dreamed of.”
Sophia smiled, tears of joy streaming down her cheeks.
“I spent my whole life building walls, Liam,” Sophia whispered, her voice filled with profound devotion. “I thought money and power could keep us safe. But you showed me that true safety is found in your arms. I love you, Liam Edwards. Not for a year... but forever.”
We exchanged gold bands, and as the pastor declared us husband and wife, I pulled Sophia into my arms, kissing her deeply under the bright summer sun.
The crowd erupted into joyful applause as Emma and Eva ran up to us, throwing their arms around our legs.

I picked up Eva, Sophia held Emma, and together we stood under the flower arch—a real family, bound not by a contract, but by an unshakeable love that would last a lifetime.
