The evening sun cast brilliant golden light across the ocean as waves crashed against the stone cliffs behind the restored Vance Estate.

The crowd listened in breathless silence.

âBut my father showed me that no storm lasts forever,â Claire continued, looking at me with deep love in her eyes. âHe picked me up out of the dirt, broke down the doors of deception, and gave me back my voice.â
The crowd erupted into thunderous applause as I walked up onto the stage, wrapping my arm around my daughterâs shoulders as tears of joy shined in her eyes.
