Chapter 8 - The Power of PresenceThe news of Elena’s quick thinking and technical mastery spread rapidly through the hospital administration. That evening, as the thunderstorm cleared over Boston, Nathan convened an emergency press conference in the main hospital auditorium.

Reporters from every major news network crammed into the hall, eager to witness the fall of Caldwell Medical Systems. Richard Vance sat in the front row alongside his legal counsel, wearing a triumphant smile as he waited for Nathan to announce his resignation.
Nathan walked up to the podium, composed, calm, and completely unshakeable.
“For the past month, Caldwell Medical Systems has been accused of prioritizing corporate greed over pediatric care,” Nathan began, his voice echoing powerfully through the broadcast microphones. “Today, I present the complete, unredacted supply chain audit.”
With a click of a button, giant screens behind him displayed the fraudulent invoices traced directly to Vance Logistics, along with internal emails proving Richard Vance had intentionally manipulated equipment costs to orchestrate a hostile takeover.
Vance’s smile vanished as federal agents moved into the aisles, placing him under arrest for corporate sabotage and fraud.

“Furthermore,” Nathan continued, turning toward the side of the stage, “the safety of our devices was preserved not by high-priced executives, but by the brilliant diagnostic work of Elena Torres.”
The spotlight shifted to Elena, who stood backstage in her simple scrubs, holding Mia’s hand. The auditorium erupted into loud applause as journalists snapped photos of the woman who had saved both the hospital's patients and the truth.
