Chapter 13 - THE FEDERAL ARREST ON LIVE TELEVISION
Four federal marshals in dark tactical suits marched straight down the central aisle of the cathedral, flanked by local police officers and federal prosecutors holding court-ordered documents. A collective gasp echoed through the pews as cameras swung around to capture the unimaginable spectacle.
Logan turned around, his face draining of all color as the lead prosecutor stepped up to the altar steps. “Logan Vance, you are under federal arrest for premeditated assault resulting in permanent disfigurement, conspiracy to commit financial fraud, and extortion,” the prosecutor announced loudly, his voice booming through the cathedral’s sound system. Before Logan could stammer a single word of denial, steel handcuffs were snapped tightly around his wrists, dragging him away from the altar in front of millions of stunned viewers worldwide.
