Chapter 6 - The Morning Board MeetingAt 8:00 AM sharp, the executive boardroom on the fiftieth floor of Sterling Tower was packed.

The board of directors sat in leather high-backed chairs around the massive glass table, whispering nervously among themselves. Julian sat at the head of the table, looking confident, arrogant, and impeccably dressed.

The double doors opened.

Christian walked in, wearing a sharp, tailored charcoal suit that fit him as if it had been custom-made for a king. He wasn't the ragged outsider from the party anymore; he radiated the unmistakable aura of an apex predator.

Behind him walked Clara, carrying a secondary stack of corporate ledgers.

"You have no seat here, Christian," Julian sneered, spinning his pen between his fingers. "This is a private corporate meeting."

Christian walked straight to the head of the table—right beside Julian—and pulled out the chair reserved for the primary managing trustee.

"Actually, Julian," Christian said smoothly, sitting down and folding his hands on the glass surface. "As the holder of fifty-one percent voting shares transferred directly from our father’s undisclosed secondary holding trust, I call this meeting to order."
