Chapter 10 - Beyond the VeilOne year later.

The summer afternoon sun cast golden light across the oceanfront lawns of the newly built Diop-Hastings Clean Energy Center in Nairobi, Kenya.
The ten-billion-dollar infrastructure project, fully realized, was providing clean solar energy and fresh water to over two million rural homes across East Africa.
Over five hundred international dignitaries, community leaders, and corporate partners gathered under the white floral canopy for the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Edward stood on the terrace wearing a dark blue linen suit, holding a glass of sparkling water. Beside him stood Milana, wearing a stunning yellow silk gown, her hair styled in an intricate crown of braids, her face glowing with health, happiness, and profound peace.
She wore no veil, yet her presence commanded the same quiet, unshakeable respect it always had.
Edward wrapped his arm around her waist, pulling her close against his side as their six-month-old daughter, Amara, slept peacefully in a stroller beside them.
âWhat are you thinking about, my love?â Edward asked gently, kissing her temple.
Milana looked out over the vast, green landscape, where wind turbines turned gently against the blue sky, then turned her eyes to her husband.
âI was thinking about the day I walked out of that limousine in Boston,â Milana smiled warmly. âYou looked at me like I was an unwelcome secret.â
Edward let out a soft laugh, shaking his head with deep affection. âI thought a veil was hiding an uncomfortable truth. I had no idea it was protecting the greatest treasure of my life.â

Milana rested her head against his shoulder as the crowd cheered and the red ribbon was cut, ushering in a new era of clean energy and hope.
The shadows of doubt were gone forever. The greedy had fallen, the truth had triumphed, and two souls brought together by an arrangement had built a legacy of love, honor, and grace that would light the world for generations to come.
