Chapter 6 - Unmasking the Blackwell Lie“Before you escort us out, Mister Blackwell,” Owen’s voice boomed through the auditorium speakers, calm, steady, and loud enough to command total silence, “the board of directors deserves to see where twelve million dollars in software acquisition funds actually went.”

The giant forty-foot LED screen behind the podium flickered to life.

The boardroom erupted into furious murmurs. Shareholders leaned forward, clicking their pens and whispering in shock.
Charles Blackwell stood up slowly, his face turning pale as he stared at the screen, then down at his son. “Evan... what is the meaning of this?”

“It’s a fake, Dad!” Evan shouted, his voice cracking with panic. “He’s a low-level employee! He fabricated those documents with my ex-girlfriend!”
“Then perhaps you’d like to explain this audio recording from two hours ago, Evan,” Owen said smoothly, pressing a key on the laptop.
