"Three years ago, Gregory Pierce illegally accessed Caroline Hayes’s executive portal to terminate the Genesis cardiac trial," David declared to the hushed room. "He deliberately sabotaged a working treatment to inflate Apex Pharma’s stock value—an action that constitutes wire fraud, forgery, and corporate manslaughter."
Murmurs of shock echoed through the room. Senior board members stared at Gregory in utter disbelief.
"This is a desperate fabrication!" Gregory shouted, standing up, his polished charm vanishing as his face flushed red. "Security, clear this room!"
