Chapter 10 - A New Dawn TogetherLeah gasped, her breath catching in her throat as Henry slowly dropped to one knee on the lush green grass.

Eli and Maddie stopped playing, running over to watch with wide, excited eyes.
"Leah," Henry said, looking up at her with profound love and sincerity. "Six months ago, I was a dead man sitting in a dark room. You walked into my life with two amazing children and taught me how to live again. You gave me back my strength, my hope, and my heart."
He opened the velvet box, revealing a brilliant platinum ring set with a glowing sapphire.
"I don't want a caregiver, Leah," Henry whispered, his voice thick with emotion. "I want a partner. I want a wife. Will you marry me and make this house a real home forever?"
Tears of pure happiness overflowed down Leah’s cheeks. She nodded frantically, kneeling on the grass to wrap her arms tightly around his neck.
"Yes! Yes, Henry! A thousand times yes!" she cried out.
Eli and Maddie cheered joyfully, jumping up and down, while Arthur clapped warmly from the porch. Henry pulled Leah into a deep, passionate kiss, holding her close against his chest.

The sun shone brightly over the Boston harbor as the grand opening of the Caroline & Leah Community Center was celebrated—a massive charitable complex funded by Henry to provide free housing, daycare, and job training for single mothers.
Henry stood at the podium, holding his newborn daughter, baby Caroline, in one arm, while his other arm was wrapped securely around Leah’s waist. Eli and Maddie stood proudly in front of them, holding the ceremonial ribbon-cutting scissors.
Henry looked at the crowd, then down at his wife, whose eyes sparkled with love and fulfillment.
The dark river of grief, betrayal, and paralysis was far behind them. They had pulled each other from the depths, rebuilt their lives on a foundation of truth and devotion, and found a love that would last a lifetime.
Henry leaned down, pressing a soft kiss to Leah’s lips as the crowd cheered.
