Stripped of his corporate title, his multi-million-dollar valuation, and his untouchable social standing, Grayson Hail sat in the corner of the boardroom flanked by his own desperate defense attorneys. His face was ashen, his expensive suit wrinkled, and his arrogant demeanor completely evaporated.
As the federal lead agent stepped forward to formally execute the arrest warrants for systemic fraud, money laundering, and conspiracy, Grayson raised a shaking finger toward Meline. “She helped me! She signed the papers!” he screamed in a desperate, pathetic plea.
Meline turned her head slowly, looking down at him with profound pity and absolute detachment. “Every signature you forged has been legally verified and traced back to your private IP addresses, Grayson,” she said quietly. “Your empire of lies is finished.” With federal agents snapping heavy steel handcuffs around his wrists, Grayson was hauled out of the boardroom in disgrace, his corporate reign ending in utter humiliation.
