Chapter 10 - UnbrokenThe next morning, as the first golden rays of dawn illuminated the Newport coastline, I walked down the stone steps leading to the private beach below the estate.

The ocean breeze was cool and refreshing. I pulled off my sandals, letting my bare feet sink into the soft, warm sand, feeling the gentle foam of the waves lap against my ankles.

Alexander ran ahead, laughing as he splashed in the shallow water, while Julian and William walked a few paces behind, talking quietly about the foundation's upcoming projects.

I stopped, looking out over the vast, shimmering expanse of the Atlantic Ocean.

The girl who had begged for her life on a frozen Colorado cliff was gone. In her place stood a woman who had reclaimed her name, restored her father's legacy, protected her child, and built an empire of hope for thousands of others.

I touched the faint, silvery scar near my temple—not with sorrow, but with profound pride.

I was Emily Carter.

I was unbroken, unbowed, and loved beyond measure. And my life was just beginning.
