“It’s a frame-by-frame neural deepfake,” the engineer announced. “Whoever made this used high-frequency synthesis to overlay Miss Thorne’s voice prints onto an actress’s physical body movements.”
The engineer pressed a key, tracing the digital signature back to its original source IP address. The room fell silent as the file metadata opened on the main monitor.
The digital creation originated from the personal laptop of Julian Vance—the CEO of Vance Technologies and Arya’s former studio executive producer.
