Chapter 10 - The Harbor SunsetOne year later.

The Columbia River harbor was glowing under a breathtaking golden sunset. The water rippled gently as private boats bobbed against the docks.

On the open deck of a private yacht, fairy lights twined around the railings, and white flowers bloomed in soft arrangements.

Victoria sat on the plush leather lounge, wearing an exquisite white lace dress that draped elegantly over her frame. Her blond hair was styled softly, and she laughed—a bright, ringing sound that carried across the water.

Ethan sat beside her, wearing a crisp dark navy shirt, his dark hair slightly windswept, a warm, radiant smile on his face. He held her hands gently in his, his thumbs caressing her skin with steady, devotion.

In the background, little Sophie was laughing as she chased butterflies near the bow of the boat, holding her beloved stuffed rabbit, Gerald.

"You know," Victoria whispered, leaning her head against Ethan’s shoulder as the warm evening breeze kissed their faces. "Gerald Obi called me yesterday. He asked if he should arrange another blind date for his friend."

Ethan laughed softly, pulling her closer and kissing her forehead. "What did you tell him?"

"I told him," Victoria said softly, turning to gaze into Ethan's dark eyes with endless love, "that I already met the man of my life—and he brought cheap daisies on a rainy Friday night."

Ethan smiled, holding her tight as the sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky in brilliant gold and pink—a beautiful beginning to their forever happy ending.
