Chapter 4 - The Interception at the DocksAt Pier 14, blue and red strobe lights illuminated the dark waterfront.

Three federal boats surrounded a luxury yacht idling near the concrete pier.

Tactical officers in heavy body armor held two of Grant’s private security guards at gunpoint on the gravel lot.

Charlotte rushed out of the SUV the second the doors unlocked, running toward a federal vehicle parked near the dock.

An agent opened the rear door, revealing little Noah, wrapped in a warm blanket, holding his stuffed bear, crying softly.

“Mommy!” Noah screamed, reaching out his small arms.

“Noah! My baby!” Charlotte wept, pulling her son into a fierce, desperate embrace, kissing his face over and over again under the flashing police lights.
