Chapter 12 - Natalie Remarried
Natalie married a pediatric physical therapist named Evan Brooks when Lucas was five.
She invited me.
I almost declined.
Then went with Noah.
Ethan attended too.
Strange.
Beautiful.
Natalie wore blue, not white.
During reception she hugged me.
“You changed my life.”
“Ethan did that.”
“Unfortunately.”
We laughed.
Then she said, “You telling truth without humiliating me mattered.”
I had not realized.
We posed for one photograph.
